Member conditions

 

To make a purchase with Plusshop, the customer must subscribe to a membership on terms of subscription. The customer must be 18 or older and be a UK resident. Only one membership can be set up per customer. Business owners are not able to set up a membership. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that their account information is up-to- date and correct at all times. The first time the customer makes a purchase with contact@plusshop.co.uk, a membership will be added to their shopping basket. The membership fee is £12.95 incl. VAT per month and will be withdrawn from the customer’s credit or debit card each month. The membership fee will not be withdrawn within the first 14 days, as this period is considered a trial period. During this trial period, the customer is free to withdraw from the membership. The membership fee will be withdrawn from the customer’s credit or debit card 15 days after the customer’s account has been set up. Should the customer wish to cancel their membership, this can be done with immediate effect. Cancellation must be informed in writing to contact@plusshop.co.uk, or be carried out via the customer’s account using “My account” and then “My membership”. Use the function “Cancel membership”. In the case of cancellation, the customer’s account will become inactive once the paid period runs out unless the customer cancels during the trial period, in which case the customer’s account will become inactive immediately. The customer cannot demand the membership fee back completely or partially. Upon cancellation, a confirmation will appear in ‘My account’ and ‘My membership’. It is your responsibility as a member to get in touch with Plusshop if notice of your cancellation does not appear on the page ‘My membership’.

Should the customer reactivate their account, the trial period mentioned in section is not valid.

When purchasing for the first time, you will receive a receipt in the form of an order conformation with information regarding your membership. Henceforth, you will be able to find receipts on ‘My account’ when you log on to your profile. You can cancel your membership at any time, though not within the first 24 hours after setting up your account. This means that you will not be able to cancel your membership until after the 24 hours have lapsed, but remember that if you cancel your membership you will have used up your free trial period.

If you forget your password, you can have a new password sent to you by using ‘Forgotten password’, which can be accessed through the log on function. Should you not receive a new password automatically in your email inbox, you can contact contact@plusshop.co.uk.


Cancellation and right of return

In accordance with existing legislation, you have a 14-day right of cancellation on your membership. The right of cancellation applies from the day you made your first purchase. The right of cancellation applies to your first purchase and entering into agreement and is therefore not valid for future and running payment of membership fee.

Note that when cancelling your membership within these 14 days, you will also be cancelling your free trial period meaning that new purchases will start a regular membership on Plusshop.
